Pilates: Think of Pilates as a weekly MOT for your body. In class we learn how to align our joints so we can move as efficiently and easily as possible. We also strengthen the muscles with increasingly challenging series of exercises; using equipment to keep things interesting. Why do it? What to expect: All equipment is provided (but you are welcome to bring your own mat) Grip socks or bare feet recommended A flowing sequence of exercises in various positions including standing, seated, side lying, prone + 4 point kneeling Modifications given to increase or decrease challenge/accommodate injury A friendly, welcoming + supportive environment
