Open class, all levels.
This class will work to strengthen, revitalise and relax the body and mind, work closely with the breath and encourage a meditative approach to practicing yoga. Traditional yoga postures using slow flowing movements closely linked to the breath throughout the practice, with seated breathwork and meditation to complete each practice. Regular attendance will develop yoga practice skills through bi-monthly themes which we explore in depth.
The class welcomes all levels of ability and experience, and the postures are taken step-by-step with slow movements, vinyasas and seated meditation. I support practitioners to explore challenges to their own level, offering options during each class for when you feel ready to ensure your practice is suitable. A meditative link using breath and body sensation is supported throughout the practice for overall well-being. Each class is balanced for physical ease, good functional movement, and Hatha yoga energetic benefits.
