Restorative Yoga is gentle on the body, whilst providing all of the benefits of a complete yoga practice. By supporting poses with props (such as bolsters, blankets and blocks) and by using slow, focused movements, the body has a chance to feel the form of the poses and build better body awareness.
This nurturing, healing form of yoga is suitable for those who wish to relax and center themselves, those who have suffered an injury and anyone who needs relief from the pressures of modern life.
This class will also involve some Yoga Nidra practices, also known as 'Yogic Sleep' this powerful yet simple practice will leave you feeling calm and relaxed.
Classes suitable for all students, but not recommended for complete beginners. The groups will be mixed ability but our teachers will accommodate you and will offer different options to suit different levels of experience.
