Hatha Yoga classes will help the body to strengthen and to release tension, to stabilize and calm the mind and to work deeply but not fast. There is more emphasis on holding a pose for longer, combining gentle postures, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation to encourage release and relaxation in the mind and body. Those with injuries can be supported in these classes.
Beginners to Improvers (Beg - Imp)
If you’ve been attending classes for between 6 months – 2 years (depending on how often you come) and are starting to get to grips with the basic poses, alignment and breathing principles - then try these classes. There will be a mix of beginners and those who are more experienced and the teacher will offer different options to suit different levels of experience. Not suitable for complete beginners.
