Expect a fun, sociable, music led cardio warm up, core conditioning for gymnastics and circus movement, handstand drills, followed by flexibility training and rehab work, including opening shoulders and upper back, active flexibility for splits, bridges, pancake, pike, roll throughs, and progressions towards more advanced flexibility shaping including back bends, forearm stands, Y-lifts, arabesques, bow and arrow, scorpions, needlescale and more. Whatever sport you're into, these classes will help improve your performance.

Expect a fun, music-fuelled, weekly circus class incorporating acrobatic and aerial technique, conditioning and flexibility. Circus Fitness&Flexibility is designed to inspire and invigorate, as well as improve your flexibility in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. You will always learn something new in these classes.
Circus Fitness & Flexibility is a good introduction to circus for complete beginners and an opportunity for skill specific conditioning for current circus students, including the opportunity to drill movements for aerial routines. Whatever sport, fitness or flexibility background you have, our eclectic classes will benefit and improve your performance. The circuit activities allow you to work at your own pace, so you can move fast or slow depending on your Friday feeling! We prioritise good technique and injury prevention as well as a thorough work out. Whatever your level or goal you should try this class. Check out our reviews.
Approximate timings: 15 min: cardio warm up and mobility, focusing on legs, shoulders, back, abs and core. 40 min: Aerial Conditioning and Technique - complete beginners to advanced level for Rope, Trapeze, Hoop, Silks, Straps. 25 min: deep stretch, including front and side active splits conditioning for tight hamstrings, quads, calves and hip flexors. Opening exercises for tight shoulders and upper back. Bridges, handstands and walkovers. We have progressions for all levels!
Bring water and leggings for aerial work, high waisted shorts or a leotard may also be useful. Bring warm, loose clothes for the flexibility section.
