A fun, friendly and music fuelled, weekly conditioning and flexibility training class for acrobatic, gymnastic and aerial technique. Circus Fitness and Flexibility is designed to invigorate you and progress your skills in a supportive atmosphere.
It’s a good introduction to circus and gymnastics movement for complete beginners and an opportunity for skill specific conditioning for aerial silks, trapeze, rope, straps, hoop. Gymnastics conditioning and progressions for handstands, cartwheels, splits, bridges, pancakes, walkovers and other movement is included. Each week we finish with flexibility training. Whatever sport you’re into, or if you just want to break free of stiffness and lack of mobility from office work or cycling, climbing and running, this is the class for you.

Bring: High waisted leggings/shorts/leotard & warm, loose additional layers for flexibility training.
Expect Conditioning: Aerial circus skills and drills to improve inversions, climbs, strength, stamina and confidence in the air on a range of equipment. Sessions can also include gymnastics forms and movements, acro partner exercises, floor exercises, abs, legs.
Flexibility Training: trigger point release and active flexibility and skills training for splits, bridges, pancakes, roll throughs, walkovers. Each week we work with specific exercises to improve mobility and flexibility for hamstrings, hip flexors, quads, calves, upper back and shoulders.
