Lyrical contemporary is a fusion of contemporary, modern, ballet and jazz. It’s gained a lot of popularity in recent years, thanks to shows like BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance. And it’s perfect for anyone who wants to move freely and with feeling.
In every class, we’ll work on a range of routines. Some will be soft and graceful. Others will be fiery and fast. All of them will be exciting, creative and expressive.
Classes are open to anyone and everyone. No formal training needed — just a love dancing and a willingness to have a bit of fun.
The 3.45-4.45 class is aimed at people with little dance experience. The 4.45-5.45 class is aimed at more advanced dancers, who’ve taken classes for a couple of years (in any style).
Dance is about feeling good. So we put a special emphasis on making sure people feel comfortable and welcome in our classes (expect a lot of laughter!). And that everyone leaves with a smile on their face and a spring in their step.
We offer a range of dance and fitness classes across Bristol all week. If you'd like to try another class, or look at other venues or days - have a search. We've got Lyrical Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet Barre Fit, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Ballet, Burlesque and Tap classes at the following venues.
