Iyengar yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world. The approach is safe, accessible and is adapted to fit individual needs.
Well known for its attention to alignment, awareness and the actions within the poses, no two Iyengar yoga classes are the same. Regular practice has a profound effect on the body and mind.
I love the integrity of Iyengar yoga and the careful attention it gives to alignment which can be transformative; I love too the humility it encourages in those who practise. As a student and a teacher of Iyengar yoga I value its accessibility and the way it can be adapted to work for each individual.
The potential for apparently small adjustments to have profound effects on the body, mind and emotions of anyone who practises Iyengar yoga, at any level, energises and inspires my teaching.
As well as teaching yoga I’m an actor and theatre practitioner with a working life that is unpredictable and ever-changing. I treasure the balance, steadiness and space offered by Iyengar yoga as well as the opportunity to always learn more, discover and develop understanding. I teach classes in Bristol and online and would be delighted to welcome you.
