Jo’s main style of teaching is Vinyasa flow. Movements are considered, rhythmic and led by the breath. Students are encouraged to develop an understanding and awareness of their own bodies, using key alignment principles. The importance of individual sensitivity is stressed, directing people towards a safe and fulfilling yoga practice. Emphasis is placed on the development of relaxed, flowing postures, core strength and flexibility. Each class ends with Shavasana, the final relaxation. Above all, yoga is meant to be enjoyable. Jo’s enthusiasm and sense of fun permeates through her classes. She is gentle, encouraging and supportive.
