Vinyasa flow yoga is a form of dynamic breath-synchronised movement. Whilst having its origins in ashtanga vinyasa yoga, vinyasa flow yoga does not follow a set sequence every week and often classes are sequenced around a particular theme (such as hip openers, the heart chakra, letting go).
Whilst this is a dynamic class (prepare to get a sweat on!), there is always a focus on alignment, drishti (gaze) and the breath to bring the focus inwards.
Every class includes physical postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), meditation and relaxation. All poses can be modified to make them more suitable for beginners or more experienced yogis.
All equipment is provided (mat, block, belt, bolster), just bring yourself!
