Suitability – Beginner to Advanced
SouthCoast gym has a number of HIIT classes. HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, is a great cardio workout that alternates between high intensity bursts and low to moderate intensity recovery.
Research shows that HIIT training is extremely effective at burning fat and building muscle whilst really getting your heart pumping. It’s a great form of cardiovascular exercise and will improve your overall athletic capacity and body aesthetics.
HIIT is suitable for all fitness level’s as you can work at your own pace. It is a great way of taking your fitness to a whole new level. All sessions last 30 minutes and are at 0630, which would work well with a workout regime which involves weight training.
HIIT is not suitable for those with any cardiovascular conditions.
