These classes will be gentle and nurturing. In the Yin practice, we will hold supported asanas for a period of time, drawing our senses inwards into a state of meditation. This will allow us to connect to our breath, to align the postures without pain, and to encourage us to listen deeply to our bodies and respond with kindness. The sound of the singing bowls will help you to reconnect and to feel what is happening in the present moment, the sensations in the body, and the inquiry of the mind. These classes also include somatic techniques, self massage, vocal toning, Qi Gong, and meditation. They have been crafted with love and passion for this work and with the aim to release tension in the body and mind in a gentle and individual way.Please note it's generally not recommended to practice Yin yoga during pregnancy due to the increased levels of the relaxin hormone. It is also not recommended for 8-12 weeks post-partum.
