A two-part profoundly relaxing and meditative practice. In Yin, we weave together knowledge from Traditional Chinese Medicine, modern science and Yoga to create a calm, nourishing space for the body and mind. Low-to-the-ground postures are held for between 2 and 5 minutes which puts our non-muscular tissues(fascia, tendons, ligaments) under light strain. This can help facilitate greater flexibility and improved circulation amongst other physical benefits. This practice is coupled with breath awareness (pranayama) and leads seamlessly into Yoga Nidra.Yoga Nidra is a led journey of meditation and mindfulness which is done lying down with eyes closed. Nidra systematically invites the body and nervous system to relax, so you enter a state somewhere between waking and dreaming. The perfect tonic to prepare you for a gorgeous night’s sleep.
