SHAKE your way to a toned body with maraca-style Zumba Toning sticks, which are provided in a choice of two weights (1lb each, or 2.5lbs each). BOTH weights will give you great results quickly, without impact to your joints. This is a full body toning and cardio workout, with the emphasis on upper body toning.
Helen is a REPS (level 2) qualified Group Exercise to Music instructor, who has been teaching various types of Zumba since 2011. She always offers a safe and effective warm up and cool down / stretch.
A variety of music is used and the playlist is rotated every week to keep sessions fresh and interesting. In addition to the Latino rhythms, other rhythms are included - such as drum 'n' bass, hip hop, pop, denbow, etc.
Helen’s Zumba Toning sessions also include a few Zumba routines (i.e. without the sticks). All fitness levels, dance abilities, ages, etc. are welcome and catered for. This session has a friendly / welcoming / non-competitive atmosphere and great sense of community among the participants.
Buses from Eastbourne direction stop outside The White Horse Hotel. Buses from the Brighton direction stop outside Tesco. Walk through the alleyway on the righthand side of Tesco, to the village hall on your left in Park Road (where there is usually free parking available).
