Light-weight maraca-style Zumba® Toning sticks are provided for you. Get great results - without impact to your joints.
This is a full body workout - with an emphasis on muscle toning - but also including plenty of cardio-vascular work and fat-burning as well. (You really don't have to jump around a lot to increase your CV fitness levels and burn fat anyway.)
Zumba® Toning is Helen's most popular AND effective session - and she is STILL the only Zumba® Toning instructor in this area. Helen is fully-qualified and she has been teaching several types of Zumba® since 2011. She always offers a safe and effective warm up and cool down and stretch.
A variety of music is used and the playlist is rotated every week to keep sessions fresh and interesting. In addition to the Latino rhythms, other rhythms are included - such as drum 'n' bass, hip hop, pop, denbow, etc.
All fitness levels, dance abilities, etc. are welcome and catered for. This session has a friendly / welcoming / inclusive / non-competitive atmosphere and great sense of community among the participants.
Buses from Eastbourne direction stop outside The White Horse Hotel. Buses from the Brighton direction stop outside Tesco. Walk through the alleyway on the righthand side of Tesco, to the village hall on your left in Park Road (where there is usually free parking available).
