My aim is to help women improve their quality of life with a balanced and diverse program of exercises which aid the transition into and through the Menopause by enhancing women's health, happiness and productivity.
Through research, I believe that doing exercise regularly helps maintain a healthy weight, relieve stress, reduce anxiety, help strengthen joints and helps uplift your mood with the release of all those lovely endorphins and feel good hormones.
I have over 30 years experience caring for people; coming from a Nursing background, I moved into Complementary therapies in 1999. I worked as a Therapeutic Massage Practitioner in London Hospitals, Private Health Clubs, The BBC and the Entertainment industry.
I have always been passionate about exercise, from Gymnastics, Dance, Yoga, Circuits/body Attack and, most recently, I have found the fantastic benefits of Body conditioning and Rebounding.
Having gone through ’Early onset Menopause’ at 42 years old, I struggled hugely with many of the symptoms, especially weight gain, joint stiffness, mood swings and disturbed sleep patterns. As a result, I decided to use my experience to help those going through this life change.
I see the Menopause as a natural part of life, it need not be something we dread or suffer alone with. We can turn it around to be a new beginning, a time of freedom and independence, where a woman can feel empowered and energised with a renewed understanding of herself and her body.
MOVE BETTER. FEEL BETTER. LIVE MORE.
