You will learn the basics of original Yang family Tai Chi, both the family's system of "Softening Exercises" and the "Long Form" in this hour long class. Big focus on softening and relaxing the body to improve health and relaxation - a necessary precursor to learning higher levels of the art.

Kevin Bryant, the instructor, has been a devotee of the art for over 20 years and has studied with some of the best teachers in the world, including his long time teacher, Jim Uglow, with whom he has studied closely, for 17 years.

During the last 10 years, and with his teacher's introduction, he has trained with members of the Yeung (Yang) family during annual trips to Hong Kong, most notably, Yeung Ma-Lee Sifu, the second daughter of Yeung Sau Chung, and her husband James.

He has taught hundreds of students at his Surrey tai chi school which he opened in 2003. He still teaches there during week days and evenings and now is hoping to "spread wealth" of Yeung family tai chi on the Southcoast with Friday through Monday classes.

Kevin also "moonlights" as the CEO of a small consultancy after twenty years in the financial industry.
