The aim of my older adults exercise classes is simple; to help you improve your flexibility, balance and strength. Each class starts with a head to toe warm-up of all your major joints so that you can safely work out.
I promote good posture as well as strength and conditioning of all your major muscle groups using resistance bands and lightweight dumbbells (1kg to 3kg), as well as incorporating exercises that aim to improve your balance.
Each exercise class ends with a good 15-minute stretch out session that will help improve your flexibility. While my classes are designed for people aged 60 and above, anyone who feels they would benefit from taking up a regular low impact class is welcome to attend.
