When the body, the mind and the breath move together deep physiological changes take place. The organs start to work more efficiently, muscles relax, the nervous system calms down, the heart opens and a deep sense of peace develops. Movement becomes meditation. We direct our attention inwards, experience every breath, every movement, every thought, every emotion. We challenge and stretch. We meet our limitations. We observe what arises without competition, expectation and judgement. We let go of the urge to achieve. We become soft and still. We let life touch us. We feel more alive and vibrant - this is yoga.
