Most of us desperately need deep rest and restoration of mind and body. Many people are saying that the next pandemic will be a mental health pandemic. This class is an almost guaranteed way to offer you an hour of stress release on a subconscious and conscious level which impacts your nervous system in long lasting ways, reducing cortisol and moving your body away from a constant fight of flight mode.
We will start the class with a bit of movement - some gentle sun salutations and a stretchy flowy sequence, followed by a couple of longer held restorative poses and then a full 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra - ‘effortless relaxation’ or ‘yogic sleep‘ - a guided relaxation which will leave the class feeling thoroughly refreshed.
