MoveGB are on a mission to be the largest active membership in the world. Think of what Netflix is doing for the movie industry – we are seeing the same rapid growth in our revolutionary service. Offering access to a variety of gyms, fitness classes and leisure activities under one subscription, our aim is to make our members healthy and, most importantly, happy!
We don't have any engineering positions open right now, but we're always keen to get to know local developers who might be interested in a job at Move in the future. If you think you're well aligned with our company mission and tech stack, drop us a message describing what you'd work on in an ideal world and we'll be happy to start the conversation.
The focus in 2018 will be a significant improvement in quality of UX (mobile first), and an overhaul of many of our back-end systems, taking them from MVP to well-architected, scalable production systems. Your work will help thousands of people in the UK get active each day, and hundreds of fitness instructors find a market for their talent.
Our team currently includes three experienced product managers, six developers, a UX designer, visual designer and a part time QA.
Short-term contracts considered.
No applications from fully remote candidates please, we need to you to be on-site (Bath) at least 3 days per week, at least to start with.
