Yoga postures with a modern twist,In this class the basic foundational yoga postures are practised to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity with repetition and balance being the goals, putting focus of the body's range of motion with standing postures, twists, back-bends, forward folds, balances and hip openers. Each month there will be a signature posture that we will be working towards the end of each class. This class is for people who are interested in increasing flexibility, mobility and strength. There will be no chanting before the class but we do end with a short meditation as a reward for all your body's hard work! Suitable for beginners and all levels.
