This class focus on alignment, connection with the breath, and spreading awareness and intelligence throughout the entire body. You will be introduced to the classical postures and their modifications to develop and refine your practice in a slow, safe, and systematic manner. The breath is the connection between the body and mind, so when we learn to control the breath, we can slowly gain more control over our mind and emotions. Whether you’re completely new to yoga, or have been practicing a while, it’s always good to go back to basics to reconnect with your foundation to ensure you’re building your practice in a safe and mindful way. Classes are inspired by BKS Iyengar and his alignment based.
Very warm welcome. Aware I had issues and kept an eye on me. Never did a Yoga class as a stand alone always part of Glasgow Club. Now I see the difference. Every move came with step by step instructions. Will be returning15 May 2019
