Restorative yoga allows us to work more deeply with the parasympathetic nervous system, which brings balance to the autonomic nervous system. in day to day life we are often rushing from one task to the next constantly on the go, a restorative practice enables us to rest fully in the non doing. gentle yin postures help the body to soften connective tissues and facia, whilst maintaining concentration (dharana) on the breath brings us into the present moment, connecting us to that place of inner peace, gently releasing knots in both body and mind, create space for new positive growth.
